Is there an Apple international warranty available?

Initially i too had this doubt..When i visited Apple resellers and asked them this question, the sales people frightened me by saying that the product purchased from online retailers aren't eligible for Apple international warranty program(they said this probably coz of making their own profits)..But then i contacted Apple customer care and asked them the same question and they said that no matter from where you purchase you are covered under Apple International warranty. So u need not to worry at all.. The answer to your question is..YES..MacBook which you purchase from online retailers are covered under Apple International Warranty program..All of you have to do is register your product on Apple website and the warranty would get activated from the day you register your product upto 1 Year (Free) service..you may check the status also for the same on the website.. A word of advice: If you purchase from online retailers do check the seal when the product arrives..I mean, your MacBook would be contained in a transparent plastic sealed cover..if the seal is tampered then return the product..
