it is very good and excellent for personal as well as buiness perpose. i like it. battery life is approx. 6 hours. and display is very excellent.it is best for value for money.

Processor speed is low. I installed Win7 OS and basic MS office. i experienced lag in web page opening, appearance of link icon when hovered over the hyperlinked text

Second reason to buy this Asus. • 15.6 inch screen. Well, no other brand gives this size of screen at such a low cost. Not even Samsung matches this criterion when it known for its low cost gadgets. Another reason. • This laptop comes with DOS which was good for me as I installed Linux on this one and I did not had to bear the brunt of using Windows. If you do not want to use Windows this one is for you. • Everybody appreciates the quality of Altec Lansing Speakers and I would say that it is wise that you choose to go with these set of speakers if you buy external ones. As for this laptop, you get a couple of them in-built. • 500GB storage is more than enough for any regular computer user and most of us do not even reach the 320 GB mark. So there is a lot to store on this Asus laptop. • Palm Proof Technology, not present in other laptops differentiates the touch between the palm and finger contact which aids in typing without obstructions. I bought this laptop for office work a month ago and this one is the cheapest gadget that I have bought which has not given me any troubles at all. This is my first Asus product and I would say this company won my heart easily. There are a lot of choices available when it comes to laptops and I chose this one because of good specs and low cost. But now I would say that I am not very happy with my purchase as I have found better options. Samsung is offering a killed notebook as less than this product but the storage capacity and screen size and processor are low. But why I would go for it? I won't say that this computer is lightning fast but this one is good for daily tasks. You can also do a lot more than simply checking the mails and playing games. I am a designer and use Photoshop regularly, I find this laptop to be fast enough for it because the latest version of PS is a heavy one. Many similar laptops cannot run smooth when PS is running on the background but this one shows no sweat. So I think that this laptop is good for different casual needs and can be used otherwise too.
