how is the performance of JBL -GTX646 4-channel amp without sub woofer. I have sony component for front and at rear jbl gt 366 co-axial. Please advise ?

Its best with sub. I have Sony 2 channel for sub and jbl amp for all door speaks. (All components) .Its great . there is lot room for tuning the four speakers. Its best when you have components with good tweeters.

An amp always boost the performance of the system, However for the Subwoofer alone would recommend a 2 way channel and for the rest of speakers and system 4 way is better

I have been using this amp from 3 months on my new swift vxi!! Performance wise it is best in the price range!! I'm using this amp with jbl components speakers which has been fitted to four doors and two twitters at the front near side mirrors!! Very great sound and bass!! I would recommend this to you!!!!
