Good phone, great for surfing and gaming freaks..battery life is great (4 days normal usage). Can handle most games without any lag. Brilliant display, clear n good for reading. Great, solid build quality, though its slippery to hold sometimes. Missing the corning gorilla display, which is missed alot.

I Purchased this phone for its promised long battery life although the sound quality and looks were a compromise from day one . This is not a product review buy service review about how lonovo deails with customer complaints My phone started dropping both the carriers signals and so I deposited it on the 31st October for repair with their service centre in Navi Mumbai . Nightmarish to get through their call centre. Wrote emails and finally wrote to their ED in charge of Services . Sugarcoated emails received but you bet work wont get done As I write this review on the 18th Nov the Service centre has not even been provided the parts . And the most disappointing part is there is no procedure or benchmark in place as to what must be done if a phone cannot be repaired in a given time . No clarity on replacement / Refunds . NEVER EVERY BUY A LENOVO Phone since their customer attitude sucks !

Only issue found is its mouthpiece is not that great. Works fine without hanging though with many apps and battery - man, no comparison for this beast on tht front.

My job requires a great deal of mobility and connectivity throughout the day. From the experience of my previous phones, I decided to buy a phone based on the battery life it had rather than the brand. After all, what's the point of carrying a smart phone if you don't have enough battery juice to last the day. So I ended up buying the p780 and I'm impressed. The battery life is phenomenal. My usage of the phone is about 8-10hrs talk time (I use both SIMs), and connected via 2G through the day and wifi and home. The phone lasts about a day and a half! Pros: Definitely battery life. Quite fluid even though only 1GB RAM, probably due to quad core processor. Premium build quality. The buttons are quite solid to the touch. Cons : Lenovo UI is bad. You might want to get your own launcher. Phone has slowed down slightly and battery life has diminished a little after upgrade to kit Kat. My recommendation - don't upgrade. Phone is heavy, buy a case. Music (through headphones as well) is bad, being a musician I would have expected some settings to play around with. If all you want is a battery that can make calls, text and WhatsApp, this phone's for you. ☺ Don't expect much from music quality.

Advantages *Good battery backup Disadvantages *This is the worst mobile I am using in my life. Phone gets heat always. *Phone stops automatically but does not start immediatly if you switch on and start after 6-8 hours. *Signal cuts automatically then we have to restart. *If I talk in phone for more than five minites I get headache. Then I bought Bluetooth headset.second problem is that if I talk via bluetooth and I got another at time of talking, both calls will go in mute. Then I have to cut off and call again.

Lenovo is one of the best product in the market. Good battery backup phone.
