This is the first time i m using a straightener I got this product delivered yesterday and i was really curious to use it.. AS A FIRST TIME USER * I felt difficult to straighten all the section of my hair done by myself *A little scared that the heat would hurt while straightening the baby hairs near ears,forehead *i felt the impact of heat on my cheeks for around two hours after being done and was searching for any cold things to give them a healing touch (may be as a first time user I have felt this without knowing how to use them in the right way) *I just gave two swipes for each small sections of my hair(fearing that the heat would eat away my hair :D) but still the result was amazing it gave a perfect straight hair *I slept with a pony and in the morning i could not find that perfect straight hair.. * if you really need your hair to be straight till next wash then you have to do the straightening process twice like do it with all sections of your hair once and again repeat the whole process.. ABOUT THE STRAIGHTENER *Its really good for this price *I read lots and loooottts of reviews and found this straightener to be budget friendly and efficient as well. *Philips claims that it has ionic conditioning but as this is my first time straightening I could not really find the difference between an ionic and non-ionic straightener *But the results are good and to the satisfactory level IN THE BOX *As a first time user i really dont know how to start with it so I was looking up for an instruction manual but couldnt find it in the box..all you get is the straightener with a warranty card inside it.. *no heat resistant pouch or travelling pouch..at least they must have provided the instruction manual to help people like then i had to search the philips website and download the instruction manual pdf.. Hope this helps..
