    Good, could have side pockets

    The rucksack is well-built. There is heavy padding on the waist belt, which makes it comfortable to wear for long periods. All straps are adjustable,  read more

Great beginner backpack!

I bought this before I set out on a series of one-way international travels (India to Germany to Netherlands to Spain to the United States to Mexico and back over a period of 8 months). This is a tough backpack and can take some beating! I love the fact that there are a separate pair of zippers for the bottom portion of the backpack - it makes organizing my stuff a breeze and also helps when i need to remove stuff easily (for example when the bag is in an overhead cabin of an aircraft). I've been able to use this as handbaggage, as well as check-in in luggage depending upon the situation. On occasion, I even used this backpack to load my laundry to walk over to the laundromat! There's also two side zippers where i usually keep my spare shoes/slippers in. And a top zip that I use to keep meds or other liquids. Highly recommended!

Perfect. It doesn't get any better

Best Option for 60L and above Rucksacks, Ideal for hikings or vacations (For upto 2 weeks). Very tough and rugged and survived through the mountains and beaches of Sri Lanka and in rain too. Has enough space for shoes clothes and belongings to carry and well partitioned in 3 adjustable spaces. And the quality is better than those of Wildcrafts and the price is less than half as compared to them. The only downside which some people might complain is lack of extra pockets for smaller stuff but still has a mini pouch in side and should be more than sufficient.

Design is preety good and easy to carry and u dont get the feeling of heavy load.Quechua is big brand and 70L capacity makes it too good carry sufficient material for 9 day trip for a guy :P.Sufficent pockets outside to keep small and frequently needed stuffs. Not giving 5 stars because the top opening is not getting closed completly.

Comfortable is one thing i wouldn't miss out on this product. Of all the journeys i have had with this bag i have never felt even a little bit of discomfort while using it.

Quechua = Quality

This is the second quechua Forclaz70 i have purchased online (for another person this time) - mainly because my experience with this brand has been great and the product in itself is beautiful. a very reliable backpack which can hold a LOT!! i happened to even carry my quechua T2 tent along with my clothes, torches etc for a 4 day trip and carried it very easily in this very same backpack. overall i can say i carried about roughly 13-15 Kgs excuding the 2lt water bottles i was also carrying and found it very comfortable to trek across hills - thanks to the strong belts and back support this offers. the draw back is the lack of water proofing or rain cover that the higher end bags offer.. this is water resistant to an extent, however cannot withstand heavy downpours and you will need to find shelter. And yes, the person loved this bag and ditched the strolleys for good ;) ETA to get this from SD - 4 days , quite good. Packing - not that good, the product was just wrapped in the typical SD covers which already had a few small rips in a few places. my first quechua was delivered by an other online sports store in a slim box, packaged very well with multiple layers of material around it. SD - try incorporate this for your prodcuts.

I had purchased this backpack for a Himalaya trek. Good front opening backpack, comfortable to wear for long periods. Could use some more pockets on the outside.

Quechua Forclaz 70 Grey Backpack

Excellent product. Tough and durable. Yes could have done with more zippers but overall the perfect hiking bag. For those who see length over breadth, again wins hands down. Though waterproof, it is advisable to get the rain cover available here.... overall verdict - Go for it!! Cheers!
