Was the best phone for the price, when I bought it in 2013. Using it since an year and there has been no major issue.
Some people may face trouble with the camera case, as dust tends to accumulate inside.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is a great phone for the general user. It is fast, responsive, and works well when playing games. Battery life is also good. The front and the rear cameras are good for shooting and for making video calls. 3G works very well, even on slow networks.
Since it's release, the phone got several software updates from Samsung -- the latest one being Android 4.1.2. Unfortunately there are major bugs with the software updates. For example, when making or receiving voice calls, sometimes the phone will overheat suddenly within 10 to 15 seconds causing battery drain.
Another major issue is that the internal memory is divided into two chunks - 2 GB device memory + 12 GB USB memory. This causes "insufficient storage available" message while installing applications if the 2 GB device storage is nearly full (even if the USB storage is unused).
Would have rated this phone 5 stars had it not been for the poor quality of software from Samsung.

First Of All If You Are Gonna Buy This Phone Than Wait A Sec ..
Remember This "Samsung Phones Under 15000 Should Be Avoided "Bcoz Indian Brands like Micromax are providing with more features than south korean brand .
Coming To this phone .And 2.3 Android runs fabulous on this phone but you still need to clear memory often to don't experience problems ..Rest except some games (like Highway rider ) all runs well .Some games experience problems not due to speed but graphic chip which is not fully functional in 2.3 os
Now 4.2 Os Has been released for this phone ..Feeling happy !!! Wait !! Now This Phone Becomes A WASTE .Now after upgrading your phone becomes turtle and opening simple applications make a hang. Now u could only install 3-4 apps or games if u want to use a hassle free phone ..Now I Have Said My Opinion Now its your Choice
Conclusion -Buy Micromax canvas Series If You are not Brand Addicted And Want Great Features But If U Want Samsung Go For It But Don't Upgrade .From appearance its seems quite good to have 4.2 but in reality its not
