Ratings & Reviews Sony Accy MN2 Smart Watch

It's a very good smartwatch, and is yet another awesome product from Sony. I have been using it for the last 1 month and following are my observations: PROS: a) Excellent battery life: For normal usage (messages, facebook, calls, SendSms, ModeChanger, Weather etc), I get 4 days of battery life; which is indeed awesome. b) Free (and paid) apps downloadable from google playstore (like SendSms, ModeChanger etc) make it an excellent companion to my Galaxy S Duos. Also, the ones that come pre-installed (like Weather, Facebook, default messaging, calls, etc) are good and pretty useful. c) Music player app is good, and can be used for controlling volume and changing playlist, which is pretty handy if the earphones don't hv music player control options. d) The watch doesn't have a speaker/mic for listening/talking on phone, however, i have a dell bluetooth headset, which when connected to watch & mobile (via bluetooth), gives me freedom not to take out my mobile in normal usage. I can send sms, see who's calling, read facebook notifications, check weather, etc on smartwatch, and if a call comes, or while listening to audio songs, i use dell headset. e) I think it's a very good "remote control" for a connected handset. It does improve the experience of using a smartphone, in my opinion. Also, at the risk of repeating, 4 days of battery life (with watch being constantly connected to mobile & apps being used) is a huge plus !! CONS: a) It only connects to Android smartphones, so, for iPhones users: it's useless. Also, it (probably) connects to selected smartphones i.e. those with android 4.0 & above (am not sure of it, as it connects to mine which has android 4.0 and i hv never tried connecting it to lower version; but read it in some review online, so sharing it). b) Most of the accessories with watch are sony propreitory, which makes getting a substitute for any part too difficult. Even the charger is Sony propreitory, it isn't a standard micro-USB one, and only USB charging is available (i.e. no travel charger available).

Good Product. Very low cost compared to Apple iwatch which is not available in india. also low on features compared to that. But nice gadget for people finding some new thing.

Not able to pick the call only it has a disconnect function, its only possible with Sony cell phones, software has to purchase from the Google market and download than it is possible with any android cell phones.

The device needs an Android smartphone connection to function or even keep the time. Display is OK in sunlight.Sony Smart Watch is highly compatible with my Galaxy S3. awesome product thumbs up............ loved it :)

Just awesome..

The watch is good however it is not for daily use...its a good show off though.
