I bought this for my windows Vista readyboost. Ideally I could have used a pen drive. But I never get to use the memory card slot in my laptop. So I decided to use a memory card instead. Fits perfectly, windows accepted it as a readyboost device (it rejected a class 4 card)for its good read write speed. Happy with the purchase. ps :- Whether or not readyboost improves performance is a completely different arguement !!! :-)
