Snapdeal delivered it early as per my request since I was to drive out of town and I needed the device. The device is 100% reliable outside the city. Perfect for highway driving with the dual window identifying which exact lane to take when nearing multiple exit routes. Does route recalculation within seconds and never makes you feel lost. TomTom folks will take time to fully update the maps in India in the urban areas though. It can take you to the area you intend to but not always the exact building or house number. Strangely Salt Lake City in Kolkata which follows house or building numbers only and no street names, is not properly mapped. I have used TomTom in the UK. It was perfect to the dot within and outside the cities. TomTom customer service in India is excellent - they are extremely helpful. Item to buy without a second thought. Cannot get better.

This product was not packed good. The Touch seems to be very hard. I haven't used this in a full fledged manner to provide a complete review, these are my initial findings.

Good offer through Snapdeal. GPS locks in pretty fast. Takes a bit of time to set the destination. But once destination is locked in, the navigation is pretty accurate. I tried taking incoming calls through the device. But voice quality is not upto the mark. Cutting 1 star because of this.

This product is a contender with mapmyindia which I avoided because of its UI flooded with SO MEANY THINGS TO LOOK AT ON THAT SCREEN SIZE. Literally guys, the display hosts a ton of things and makes it very complex to the eye. TomTom however DOES NO SUCH THING. Its display and interface are well crafted and show much less complexity as compared to mapmyindia. One thing I would like to tell here in case someone wants to know is that mapmyindia is totally and Indian product. TomTom is a european company however. This can be viewed in 2 ways: 1. Mapmyindia is Indian so knows Indian roads better, so must have better maps. 2. TomTom sports a better build quality, FREE LIFETIME MAP updates, which is a very good thing! So you can be sure to get any map updates instantly on your device. In my opinion, I considered the 2nd view and purchased this device because of the superior quality one gets what one pays for, and also, the lifetime updates feature. I own a Scorpio and live in Delhi and have tested this deice a couple of times till places like Gurgaon, and it has worked well! So to sum it up, it really doesn't matter much when it comes to choosing between mapmyindia or TomTom, but if you want quality and reliability, then better go with this device like I did. Also, The customer support is truly excellent and I had a wonderful experience with them! So bottom line: JUST BUY IT!!

Great product. Gets a GPS fix within seconds. Accurate in locating own position. However maps are not so updated and often the GPS routes from village tracks and laterals which is quite inconvenient. Better to follow the main road and let the GPS re-route. Otherwise the product quality is amazing.
