Head heavy racket from Yonex. Light weight. Good for moderate experience players.

My first head heavy racket

I play doubles at an intermediate level, where I have a strong attacking style, and a decent defense. I've been playing with beginner rackets (high flex), and this was my first intermediate racket, which is head heavy and has a stiffer shaft. The first noticeable change in my game was some crisp backhand clears and strong smashes, with the factory strings being quite adequate. On the flip side, my defensive play suffered due to increased reaction times. I feel this is owing to both the head heavy setup and my holding the racket very low on the handle. I've since read that I should strengthen my wrists with some exercises, and try holding the racket higher when closer to the net and in defense. Overall, I'd say this is a great singles racket, but would take some time and practice to get used to in doubles.
