Good for home use

Very good product, Nice sound, wired controller is very good. but, bass lovers can't get satisfy more..

After a very long self made research on 2.1 speakers, I finally stuck to this awesome "Edifier Speaker 2.1-M1386". Even though i was a bit frustrated due to delayed delivery, the way it was packed and the condition of the speakers made me joyous. The sound quality is really good, and it's multi-way connectivity to play audio file is the best part of the product. However, the controls are wired, which is a major drawback to this product. If there is a wireless remote, then for sure it would be the best product in its range.

The speaker is very compact, clear and powerful. It was connected to an LED TV and the sound quality is perfect. The effects are very good for an average hall.

firstly, design of the speaekrs is good.the satellite speakers volume is good. but the thing that did not meet my expectation is subwoofer. although the subwoofer is 14w but it sounds like 10w. for proper bass i set bass level to max. to get good bass.

So last week i purchased the edifier M1386. just to sort out the confusion there are various other models like m1380 and m1385 available for less price and lesser features. But make sure you go for M1386 only, it is the most feature rich and most powerfull(30 Watt RMS) one. I prefered this model over F&D as well as creative and sony. and believe me i don't but anything without extensive research. Now the pros. 1. Amazing amazing sound quality 2. Clarity and bass are in perfect blend. 3. Wired remote not only provides control for volume, mute, fm radio and track selection, it also has input points for memory card and usb as well. The cute little lcd display on the top of the remote is a really sweet addon. 4. woofer is very compact but very very effective at the same time. 5. midrange driver are very good looking and are provided with generous cords. cons. 1. Not suitable for very large spaces. (although it's not meant to be on the first place) 2. No base control on the remote itself. Verdict- this amazing peice of equipment is a real joy for ears. The output is satisfactory for most people. It is loud, powefull and very clear. Lemme tell you that i listen to music on very high volmue i.e. painfully high for most people. But with Edifier M1386 I haven't been able to crank the volume more than 70% in most cases. and above all the clarity and original reproduction of sound is the real USP of this product. Dont think twice, Just get one and trust me you won't be disappointed.
