First of all I could never expect a company to sell a fully functional RO plus UV at this price. I did the installation myself and found out that the water is as good as packaged drinking water or the water from high priced ROs. The only thing is that while installation I found out some mistake on the manufacturers part which could be easily rectified. 1. The push button provided for auto cut off was Push to ON. It actually had to be Push to OFF. I had to open the switch and invert the latch. 2. The adapter provided is 24V 1.5A whereas the motor itself is rated at 24V 1.8A. The UV choke would consume probably another 200mA. So the adapter rating had to be 2A. The adapter used to overheat and I replaced it with another one for safety. 3. Steel screws have been used which would rust after some time. But all these things can be neglected if you get a product of Rs 16000 at a price of Rs 4000.
