Battery backup could have been better

I purchased Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook from Snapdeal and my overall shopping experience was fairly good. I got my laptop delivered to me within a week. And the payment was hassle-free and fair enough! Sound and video quality is great. And graphics are awesome. But the biggest disappointment of this laptop is its battery. It offers a battery backup of only 2-3 hours which is too less! There are many other Asus ultrabooks which have a battery backup of approximately 6 hours. Secondly the screen resolution could have been better as well. Apart from this, all the features are good and make it a nice buy. Collected through an in-person interaction with the customer.

An awesome purchase!

The very first time I put my hands on this laptop, it was pretty good. The keyboard seemed comfortable and till date it is still the same. Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB 24GB SSD/ Win7 HB) is a pretty sleek laptop which is ultra-light. Some of the features that make me love my laptop include 3rd Generation Ci5, sturdy construction, sensitive trackpad, compact design, and a clear display. It has made internet browsing, movie watching, and gaming the best kind of experience. I would highly recommend this laptop to all those looking for an Ultrabook at a cost-effective rate. Hats Off ASUS. Really Happy!

I got this Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB 24GB SSD/ Win7 HB) laptop from an authorized dealer 10 days back as it was not yet available on Snapdeal. I had shortlisted some of the laptops among which Asus was one as well. As my main use was for programming and not movie watching, I made my mind for Asus S56CA-XX056R as it has a fast core processing. When I was trying to place my order at Snapdeal two weeks back it went out of stock. After checking the configurations, I booked this lappy! Now let me share what all I liked about this laptop: • Sound and video quality are excellent and even in my free time I love listening music and watching movies on this one. • Responsive touchpad lets me scroll in a swift manner. It is quite smooth and in a slight touch I can scroll, rotate, or even zoom. • It is an ultra slim laptop that is compact, sleek, sturdy, robust, and really cool looking. • Now this is the best part of this laptop as someone told me that keeping it on lap for longer hours would get it heated. But to my surprise, it doesn't get heated even after keeping it on lap for over 8 hours. • The laptop is quite lightweight and even if I put it on my lap it doesn't put any weight on me. In short, it is quite portable and easy to carry around. • The quality of the camera is even better. I enjoy video conferencing on Skype a lot more. So if you go by my suggestion, Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook is a big YES. There are numerous benefits of using this laptop and very little negatives. Go for it and order it right away. Collected through an in-person interaction with the customer.

Good buy in this range!

I was on a lookout for a good laptop within a reasonable range from some time. I took into consideration a number of options such as acer v5 471p and Dell Inspiron. But after a lot of brainstorming and struggle, I finalized Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook. As a lot of people are not very positive about the quality and reliability of Asus, I want to tell all of them that it is indeed an exclusive buy that is packed with multitude of features. Some amazing features that make it a must buy are its light weight, portability, sleek design, good camera, and good touchpad. You can also place an order for this camera online. Not the Best Certainly

Asus S56CA-XX056R Ultrabook (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB 24GB SSD/ Win7 HB) could have been a little better as there are a few things which absolutely didn't work for me! I found the touch screen a little bit of a pain as I was using a computer earlier so now I have started to use a mouse instead. It re quires charging after every 3 to 4 hours which is again a down point for me! On the good side, it is a compact laptop with good looks which makes me stick to it even after so long. It is best intended for web browsing, movie watching, and business uses. Collected through an in-person interaction with the customer.

Very good buy!

First hands on the laptop was it is very SLEEK. And truly an Ultrabook. Full days usage and still cool on the laps. The keyboard is a bit stuck out and could be more smoother. The scroll multi touch is a bit lousy and tends mostly to not work properly so you end up using a mouse. Have only watched video which is smooth with the display rather good in comparison to the retina display I use on my ipad. The ram seems to be continuously running at 2.5 gb and processor at 5% usage . Need to upgrade the ram. Windows 7 Basic so does not support my Upnp Wifi so will have to upgrade to pro or ultimate another 6000/-.. Have used my own a norton 360 av in stead of the titanium per installed which is rather low on CPU usage and safer. The wifi is pretty good as still strong signals in comparison to my ipad. Have not yet seen the turbo boost in action as no demanding software in use. Overall good price for the deal . Could do better with the RAM though. USB 3 is pretty fast 10 times faster as promised. GBPS LAN also very good speed if you have GBPS wifi router BElkin N9.

Awesome piece At 39990: 1. First of all it "Asus" !! 2. Its a Ultrabook 3. 3rd Generation Ci5 4. OS in SSD These are the four factors which make you buy this ultra book After you buy this: Option to upgrade to Win-8 by paying extra online. Pros: 1. Very fast with normanl usage like, Internet browsing, songs, HD movies, and few games as well. 2. Very clear Display 3. Sleek design. 4. Robust Body 5. Ultimate sound 6. very comfortable Keyboard. 7. Very sensitive Trackpad Cons: Poor Battery life (but 2-3 hrs is not that bad if it remains for years) 15.6 is a big size for an ultrabook
