too slow processor its dual core processor speed 1.8-2.4ghz only 4MB of cache mamory some futures of tuch pad not working

I am a developer and designer and what i need is something realiable and fast enough that can do the job. I just got my notebook delivered to me yesterday and as i was installing softwares like visual studio and sql server i saw the installations took no time. sound quality is superb and picture quality is great too its pretty fast when it comes to multitasking there is no lag. Booting is fast switches on in around 15-20 seconds. Battery life is 3 hrs on a single charge. I am completely excited about my new purchase and i would recommend this product highly to all who want multitasking gaming laptop in entry segment.

I was never suspicious of buying an Asus as I had read a lot about its robustness and performance but I got to experience it firsthand when I bought this laptop. An amazing superquite machine ( I had to look at the LEDs to know that machine is actually running when the lid is closed), both looks and performance are top notch. The battery life is more than 4 hours while browsing internet. Some people complain about the speakers being on the underside but I don't have any issues with it. There was also a comment on the glare in the screen which I think exists. The screen is too glossy and when any black areas appear you can see reflections in it. It has 2 usb 2.0 and one usb 3.0 ports, wish it had one more usb 3.0. I had to struggle a bit to get the drivers as the driver disk accompanied by the product don't work out-of-the-box for windows 7 though most of the drivers in there usually work when set up manually. The only driver I had to install from internet was ethernet and I am still searching for usb drivers though the ports work with the default windows drivers. Looking at the above, these seem to be minor hassles given the features and performance packed in this laptop at such a price. The service center for Asus pick up from home and deliver, so I can't ask for more. A must buy. Cheers!

I bought this laptop and found out the battery is not charging. Don't know how to get this fixed now.

being a college student i can say this is a total beast in gaming, provided you dont plan on using it for crysis 3 sorta games, coz they might lag a bit, apart from that its a decent buy but its short battery life ensures u cnt travel widout an extra battery. moreover its bulkiness and also speakers on bottom(wierd) are few of the cons.. if u r a college student go for it..works awesomely for us..:D

I got this product 2 weeks back..As someone said earlier,its a bit heavy,has poorly designed keyboard,etc..But the worse thing is that it gets restarted after 20 mins of game play...they say something went wrong and the system needs a restart..Another drawback is that it does not have a multi touch gesture supporting image pad..My overall rating is 3/5...

I am a great movie enthusiast and I love watching movies on my laptop especially when I am on the go. To my pleasure I love watching movies on the 15.6 inch screen which provides outstanding display quality. It is also a great experience watching photographs on this screen because of its clarity and sharpness. Even doing my everyday work on this laptop is a pleasure because documents are crystal clear and PowerPoint presentations really come alive on the screen. The graphics memory of the laptop also provides for some excellent gaming experience, along with all elements of a game coming alive on the screen. I found that the major downside attached with this laptop is its chipset. It is very ordinary in performance which does not have a support for RAID. This means that it will not be possible to switch from HDDs to SSDs when they become cheaper. Although an 8GB RAM is great, it would have been better if it was possible to upgrade it to 16Gb which is not possible. The GT 630M GPU is alright if you are a gamer but it may not be compatible with many games that will come up in the future. Another problem I faced with this laptop was that because of the glossy screen the view at different angles was not so great. Collected through an in-person interaction with the customer.

One word that describes this product is "Awesome". Before purchasing this product I researched a LOT if Asus products are really good. My friends told me that Asus doesn't make quality products. But the price and the specs really attracted me. I started researching blogs, reviews, You Tube, etc and felt good about this product. Finally, I purchased this product, installed Windows 8(was great but not for my requirements) and then Windows 7 (what I love). Now, it's working really awesome, Battlefield 3--Working great. FIFA, Call of duty, mask effect everything well (of course, I'm a big fan of EA!). Best thing about the device is it's Touchpad. It's built perfectly for browsing, Zoom, rotate a picture etc. Battery life is good (upto 3.5 hrs) when browsing multiple websites, streaming You Tube, etc. Multitasking is really good. You can browse various websites, copy files from USB, Disk Drive etc without a lag. Even heavy resource games like Battlefield and mask effect plays without any issue. Sound quality in headphone and speakers are really cool. One thing I hate about this product is that the Speakers are located in the bottom which should be on the top. You'll have to lift the laptop to hear it clearly. If you're looking for an economical laptop for gaming and heavy multitasking then this is best for you. Don't believe in rumors, Asus is cool.

such a nice laptop with good configuration. high speed intel i7 processor with 2gb nvidia graphics card give a best experience of speed and visualization.
