I was searching for 27" monitor to add to my newly built Hackintosh, I was using 2 24" monitor setup so far and I was looking for big screens. After searching for many other options I saw this monitor and though to give BenQ a try, I have never had a chance to use any BenQ product so far. Setting it up with my machine was as easy as plugging wires to the machine. On first comparison with my existing samsung and dell 24" monitors, colors on this monitor was better. I adjusted it bit to suit my taste and my pictures looked even better.. However I still like the crispiness of my Dell monitor. Have used this monitor for last 6 months and never had any problem yet. My usage is limited to - Development - Image editing and viewing - Youtube and Movies (very less) Things I liked : - Very very small bezels, it looks too good - Color reproduction - Titling is easy compared to my other monitors - Quick setting buttons (switching connections takes 2-3 button clicks) - Low blue light function is good but did not get much time to use it yet :) - Using this monitor for hours continuously does not give me headache - HDMI support Things which are OK : - Inbuilt speakers, mostly useless, but plays through HDMI - I'd love if there were no speakers but had height adjustment and/or rotation support (I can even pay little more for that) - Sometimes images looks better on my Dell machine (24") compared to this Complaints : None as of now. Conclusion : Its really worth for the money and highly recommended!
