First of all this is a Buffalo HD Portable Plus model and I received in 3 days for the date of order costed me around Rs.5230/- and I'm very happy to get at this price...! Drive is very compact USB 2.0/3.0 single attached same cable appropriately around 0.6 meter which more than enough i feel... I used this product in USB 2.0 mode Read/Write speed is 48MB/s ~ 28 MB/s varying based on the content and number of files. Design wise the black body with some little unnoticeable pattern gray dots at the ends but I really liked this attractive design. Compared to WD & Seagate this HD as following features. Hardware Encryption.. there is a one time software setup for the Hardware Encryption to put the password later it works with any other system without any software dependency. Tested with WinXP and Windows 7 working its a SecureLock. There is also a extra feature shock proof i.e. accidently if we drop this HD it might work..!"Sorry, I didn't tested this :p" also Some more free software tools provided by Buffalo HD .. i didn't tested them all "Drive Navigator, Secure Lock Manager Easy, Disk Formatter, TurboPC, TurboCopy, Backup Utility, RAMDISK Utility, Buffalo Tools Launcher, ecoManager, Picasa, Google Chrome, Adobe Reader (These all Softwares are Supported for Win XP and Above But Not for Mac OS X)" Hope this review might help u Do a research in google or buffalo website about Buffalo Portable Plus ...
