ReviewThis is a very compact and multi purpose device. Highly pleased with the device. As the D-link is always a standard manufacturer, it is a good device from them. Without wires it is very convenient.
The D-Link mobile companion is a good gadget for extending your wi-fi all over your home or small office. It is highly compact and easy to use. However in the beginning when we had some difficulty in setting it up and tried to call the support number of D-Link, we were unable to connect and when we did, we were continuously getting a taped music with no human at the other end.
Difficult to configure; Need to do little trial & error to get the product running. Oterwise works o
User friendy
The one I purchased did transmit WiFi signals, but the device cannot be logged in to. I have tried using all three modes, no luck. It connects and works for 10 minutes. However the signal is lost after 10 minutes even if I am in the same room when used as a wireless router. Not very effective.
Good Product Very Easy to setup. Can connect to laptops easily. But may be my lack of Knowledge, till date I could not connect my iPad & Android Mobile to this unit.

Everybody, Please give attention that USB sharing is limited 250 GB only. You can't connect your portable HDD more than 250 GB. I ordered it as no where Sharing capacity was mentioned but its now not of use. I had tried with my 1 TB WD passport HDD but sharing was unsuccessful (light was showing red only) after that i called to D link technical support team,they conifmed that its USB Sharing capacity is only 250 GB. So if you have HDD more than 250 GB and planning to buy please don't buy. Also Flipkart need to confirm and mention its USB capacity specification clearly on it website.

Not for the purpose mentioned. Its not a wifi 2G/3G dongle support. Please map the product correctly so that the user get the correct information
