Review after 1 year- I wanted a big LED for my new computer. This was a great purchase since it tilts for a vertical reading like a book experience, multi view modes like movie, reading, gaming etc. and has host of other customizable features in the menu options. Dell also offers compatible soundbar speakers that fit under the screen, hooking to the slots available at the back. Build quality is good and the buttons feel responsive to this date. The discounted price I paid was during a festive season and the lowest for this amazing monitor even today. This monitor was better in quality over other similar products from brands like HP and Asus in an international comprehensive comparison review given on a website. I feel it is still a great product which stands for quality and does justice on all fronts be it gaming, watching movies or reading/research work. It is of the same league of Dell monitor range which is used around the globe in major Offices. Yeah, I purchased it after my experience of using it at office(a leading social media giant). Im glad that I made this purchase!

Good delivery n packaging

This I my second u2412m screen bought at snap deal. First one I bought was for office and liked it very much so bought one for home too. Does not cover entire gaumet of colours but descent enough to for the price

I connected it with my desktop on Windows 7 and Windows XP. Easy to setup, better to install drivers from CD available with monitor box. I'm using it from last 4 months. Pros: Good for Net Surfing, software programmers and Graphics editing. Text are crystal clear better then other monitors. White color is proper white. We get extra 5-6 lines during net surfing and while writing software code because of 16:10 display. It is missing in other LED/LCD monitors because of 16:9 display. Good for watching normal DVD quality and HD movies. Good for normal gaming. Good for Children's eyes. USB ports can be used for smartphone charging and data transfer from Pen drives. Cons: It is not completely IPS but we can't get full IPS in this price but still more then enough for our day to day requirements. Some frames are missed in fast animation or fast moving scenes of HD movies but can be ignored. Normally it can't be noticed prominently. It might be happening because I'm using VGA cable. Hopefully with DVI cable it can be avoided because it is having good data transfer rate but my pc is not having DVI port. Go for it....

The best monitor that I have ever used. The price makes it a "hard-to-resist" buy. The monitor can be rotated clock wise and back. The colours and pixels are just plain gorgeous. If you are looking for a monitor and the price is in your budget, make this is your buy.

Very happy with this product. p.s - Not happy about Snapdeal forcing me to leave a review for more than 40 characters, which has dissuaded me to never leave a review on Snapdeal again. Which...hurts other customers most. See what I mean, Snapdeal?

very nice monitor cg artist

Marvellous monitor for my Graphic photo editing and processing. This monitor is going to be with me for a long time. The color, contrast.... simply stunning. Recommended upgrade for your existing CRT or 17 inch. I bought this last week. It has Great features ULTRASHARP and saturation. If it is said to be a life time possession it would be an exaggeration but surely a long time possession. Brings out true colors and finally Snapdeal packing was awesome.
