Being a budding , multimedia artist I was in a desperate need to upgrade my monitor to a bigger screen and I mean a lot bigger screen than the 18 inch monitor I was using so far. I am learning animation and it requires me to create sketches and designs which often need a lot of detailing. From the day I bought the new DELL S2440L, my work has improved many folds. I could not really tell the difference in an image earlier and now i could differentiate over minute details. I zoom my sketches to the extreme limits and still the pixels do not break. The colors come out so real that it makes me feel like I am already an animation expert. This monitor was gifted to me by my dad who had been saving some money for me so I could buy an expensive phone however we are glad that we changed our mind at the last minute and ordered this monitor which has made me a champion in just 3 weeks at my studies. I have no problems using the new DELL S2440L as such apart from one thing that my monitor used to get unusually warm after using it for 4-5 hours. When i complained about this, Dell was very prompt at providing me a solution that I could not refuse to. They just simply changed my screen, just in 2 days from the purchase and I can assure you that new one works perfectly fine now. I do find the mirroring and reflections a bit annoying but I guess that with such an economical price and with such great HD viewing experience, a bit of adjustment in the light makes it all perfect an experience for me and my family.
