I bought it as a replacement for micromax modem that I was using for last 2 years. I use a tplink 3g/4g router but it is not supported on it my bad luck!!!! Coming to the performance it is a great leap forward from my last modem I constantly get a speed of 1.8-3.0mbps brousing speed which is quite good. Furthermore the speed goes to around 4-5 Mbps while downloading with IDM. Impressed by the speed. The signal is quite good and havnt got any dropouts till now. Easy configuration is quite a handy where you don't have to put APN manually and all sim card are supported. Have tried with AIRTEL and aircel sim and bsnl of course and all have worked flawlessly. Good product, recommended. One more thing sim card slot is little lousy seems like the sim is pushed upward not a big deal as there is no disconnections. The device gets heated quickly its not that hot but is quite hot you can feel it in your hand.

was gifted this dongle on my birthday. For the first month, I used a BSNL 3G sim with it and I was left disappointed because of the bad BSNL service in my city Varanasi. So, I shifted to Vodafone and it didn't disappoint, as was expected, but the internet charge was very high. So, at last I settled with a broadband connection. Here I want to say that if you are buying a dongle consider the cost that you will have to bear after you have bought one because almost every dongle is the same and the only difference being company's service after the sales. Which I think is better left to you to find out because service varies from city to city. I would suggest that you should go for the broadband connectivity if you know that you are going to consume big data (say 5 GB and above). it's cost effective as well as provides better services.
