Good old satisfactory stuff. USB 3.0 is missing but very good compatibility with core 2 duo and quad processor.

Nice board. Easy to use and the best part is it has both DDR2 and DDR3

The motherboard is very good. The motherboard has all the features like SATA Port, PATA Port, DDR2 and DDR3 RAM Slot, Parallel Port etc. The performance is also very good. It covers 3 years warranty, which is great. Perfect replacement product for your old Pentium 4, Pentium D, Dual Core 1st Generation & Core-2-Duo Processor. The only drawback is very high price. The price should be within Rs. 3500. Otherwise all are good.

Pros ----- 1) It's compatible with LGA 775 socket so no need to upgrade the CPU and RAM(as it also support DDR2). Cons: ----- Never never never upgrade the BIOS if you receive Rev 2.0. Keep your BIOS version to 'FA'. System 'POST' test fails frequently after upgrading the BIOS, it doesn't even boot sometimes. So, I reverted it to version 'FA'. DDR3 1600mhz frequency RAM is not compatible with this MOBO. I haven't tested it with DDR3 1333Mhz though. I purchased Corsair Veng 1600 Mhz and this mobo is not supporting that RAM. So, be careful..!! My system config: ------------------ Core 2 duo E7400 2.8ghz DDR2 Transcend 2GB RAM 800Mhz. Sapphire 1GB DDR5 Radeon R7 250 series Graphics card. 1TB W.D caviar black.

G41 chipset gigabyte offers combo ram slots for both DDR2&DDR3 but either one type at a time max 1333mhz, which is nice for both 32bit and 64bit architecture. Which means this board worth for another 8 or 9 years! worth for money spent. Thanks to snapdeal.

I didn't buy this product from snapdeal so you will see i'm not a certified buyer. i bought this elsewhere and i am planing to buy from snapdeal, a motherboard for my brother (probably this one again if i don't upgrade to AMD processor). This board support both DDR 2 and ddr3 ram not at the same time thou. My PC configuration intel Core 2 quad q6600 gigabyte g41m combo 2x4gb AData ram xfx 6670 1gb ddr3 2 hdd 160gb/500gb iBall cabinet (doesnt rust which is great) The Gigabyte website only has a list of compatible ram modules so you can check before purchase. i check this board for compatibility for win 8 and it said compatible but i haven't tried thou so cant say. This board only supports 6670 graphics card. A certified buyer said it doesn't. may be his graphics card was damaged while removing because i am using an XFX 6670 1gb ddr 3 card on my pc and it works fine. no compatibility issues no blue screens advantage of buying this board is it has humidity protecting as (mentioned on cover) and solid capacitors. This means that you can use this board in coastal areas where most motherboard and electronic don't stand a chance of long life. i had intel dg35ec motherboard before this and it would never start because of humidity. the first time I boot your pc the usb keyboard and mouse wasn't working . it's because it usb kb/mouse was disabled in bios. I enabled it and then life became awesome. no troubles till today. no booting problem no blue screens and no driver problems. Gigabyte makes awesome products and i think this product may be the best upgrade for intel 775 LGA users. it's great for gamers too unless your hardcore but u wont use a 775 LGA processor if u were hardcore , not that my quad core is bad :D new games recommend quad core processors an this is the recommended ( mean quad core and higher) cons - doesn't have raid controller
