I wanted to see what the entire android experience was all about so had ordered this phone however the end experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The pros: 1) Lightweight - the mobile is actually compact enough to easily fit in your palm, unlike some of the bulkier android devices, this one easily slips into your pocket 2) Budget: I purchased it at a price closer to Rs. 13000 but even then - not too many complaints. 3) Interface: Android did not disappoint on that front. HTC phones extend the android experience using the HTC Sense UI which is loaded with useful widgets & apps so the phone usage experience is top notch. 4) Media: I'm not a heavy user of the phone camera, but the images it produced was decent enough. The mp3 player also did it's job once I coupled it with decent earphones. The cons: 1) Sluggish performance: While the specs might state 2 GB, effectively you only have 150 MB to play around with which means that installing just 3-4 apps means you'll practically run into a problem with the phone hanging and generally sluggish performance. On more than one occasion I had to close a few running apps and free up some memory to keep the phone running. 2) Dodgy touch screen: At the slightest hint of sweaty fingertips, the entire touch experience goes for a toss. God help you if your hands are wet and you get a call. The sub-par touch performance coupled with the low memory meant that most days I did not have good memories of using the phone. 3) Battery: You'd have thought that with a 3 inch screen the battery would last for ages. However the power hungry OS, coupled with decent wi-fi/edge usage meant that the battery will run out of juice easily within a day. As expected, charging with USB takes ages so you're better off carrying the charger with you. Overall, as I mentioned I did not have great memories of using the phone however if you're looking for a low cost, simple to use/operate phone and are not to keen on installing too many apps then this is the device for you.
