The book is surely worth a read. Exactly as Mr Narayan Murthy described it, it's honest, simple and truthful. The story being the writer's own, you can't help empathizing with him and it will make tears well up in your eyes. The writing is simple, and characteristically mediocre like almost all Indian writers. The storytelling is great, and you wish it was longer.
