First, 23inches is the largest you can go for desktop monitor. Any bigger, and you have to sit far away from desk with a wireless KB on your lap. The monitor has a medium level AG coating, so movies might appear a bit grainy, but the text is crisp and sharp. Spend 30mins to calibrate color and the monitor comes to life. Connected my pc and ps3 to it and switches perfectly. Vertical viewing angles are great. The detail is good in dark scenes, something LCD's are bad with. There is backlight bleed a little, but not too bad. Black levels could be better, they are at the moment a bit soft/greyish. But if the black levels are too deep, you loose detail in dark scenes. There are vesa wall mount holes at the back, and LG came and wallmounted for free in a day!

This product is not as good as the specifications are shown. The display of this monitor doesn't look like LED rather it looks like conventional LCD. I was impresses with the tag of "IPS LED" but the output of the picture quality doesn't fulfill this anyways.
