I have been Maybelline Colossal Kajal for sometime now, so when they re-launched their best selling Colossal Kajal with a new 12 hour formula, I bought one as soon as possible.Maybelline's original 6 hour formula kajal, had some loopholes like less stay, smuding etc that I hoped this new 12 hour formula would cover.Lets see how effective and better is Maybelline Colossal Kajal 12 Hour Formula previous version. Maybelline Colossal Kajal 12 Hour Formula comes in the same yellow retractable pencil packing like its 6 hour one. It is definitely more smoother and creamier than its original version. A single swipe gave me a good black colour, something which the previous one took 2-3 swipes to do. Some kajal's does cause irritation in my eye, but thankfully this one doesn't. It is decently smudge proof.As far as the claim of the 12 hour stay it falls short, but not by much. It does stay on for a long time, longer than any other kajal I have used. There was slight smudging in the outer corners of my lash line after 5-6 hours but the kajal did not disappear completely, infact it lasted a good 8-9 hours (though the colour faded a little). The only issue I have is that this kajal is very soft, if you apply too much pressure it breaks off, so you need to use it with light hands. The NOT-SO-GOOD about Maybelline the Colossal Kajal: Not completely smudge-proof Doesn't stay for 12 hours! Maybelline Colossal Kajal 12 Hour Formula is a great product with very reasonable pricing. It gives you a good dark black colour and stays very long (though not 12 hours). The texture is smooth and creamy and it glides on without much ado. However I hate the fact that it breaks off easily, other than that I love it, it is definitely better than its original version,if you are a maybelline loyalist, you will love it, as far as others are concerned, there is no harm in giving it a try.

Bought 2 for 350+ shipping extra, nice kajal. I really like it on my gf very much. Stands out for more than 10 hours if eyes are not rubbed! Also tell your girlie to not to cry after wearing this! Happy shopping!!
