I have more Cons than Pros of this phone. I would strongly recommend not to buy this product... Pros:1. Display size Cons: 1. Touch sensivity very low - Touch was replaced after 3 months 2. Processor - very bad - Processor was replaced after 5 months 3. Speakers - worst - It was also replaced after 6 months Micromax was not ready to replace the phone and rather they were only trying to repair.. I feel these phones to be worst than second hand.. Service centres provide ridiculous customer service...

Nice Smart Phone

Hi friends , its being 18 months now , i am using this phose and this works really good for me . i could see only the battery backup is cons as ( 2 days max) but thats okay if as i use to be in 3G always . gud product

Nice handset, fast processor,screen very good , camera also very good and price very low ................ thanks to micromax for such a great phone .

Overall performance is good

I love this phone. my son almost everyday drops it and as he is just one year old he loves to chew it also. but this phone is going through all the torture very silently and smoothly I must say. :)

Micromax A117 is having only 1 GB space to install application. You can't move all application on External Memory Card. Control buttons at bottom becomes unresponsive some time.

I bought this phone a few months back but waited long to write the review to ensure I'm not biased by the initial awe of the phone. Well the phone is a fairly good buy for the price range. Its speed is still decent after having loaded mulitude of softwares in it. The tactile feel of the "back" button has deteriorated over a period, where most of the time the button gets pressed twice inadvertently. The touch feel on the screen is quite nice. The camera is actually something to write home about. Overall if you want to use a phone for a year or two you may consider buying this one.

Value for money is what my experience till date about Micromax Canvas Maganus A117, purchased almost 8 months back. The sound effects are absolutely wonderful. So far so good..
