i had a philips 800 w toaster for 4 years before it got damaged.i did a detailed search online and zoomed it on mr 650 w and mr 800w toaster .i decided to go with mr 650 w toaster because with 800 w toaster with 1 setting the bread used to get dark brown and 2nd and above settings were not at all put in use as it would have led to blackening of the bread.with this 650 watt toaster 1 and 2 setting gives a light brown bread and 3 setting gives a dark brown bread which i could not get on a 800 w toaster.the build quality of mr toaster is really good .cord length is long .the bread slot is optimum not too wide and not too narrow.very thick breads will get struck.time taken to toast the bread is a bit long (not much )than the 800 w toaster.overall a superb product.dust cover lid would have made this product perfect.i would definetely recommend this product to others because of less wattage we have the option of toasting the bread to a less brown one which has to be done manually in a 800 w toaster by standing in front of toaster and pushing the cancel button after peeping through the sides.peace of mind with this morphy richars 650 w toaster.
