The product is very good. Thou the original Nikon box isn't what it came along.. But the product is original and crisp.. Delivery was delayed by a couple of days..but that could be accounted to the festive season.

I have been looking for this for sometime. Gives me a good range and don't have to switch lenses for regular photography. Though, not very convinced of the seller and if the lens sent to me is new or not. Package arrived in local packing..was not in a genuine Nikon packaging and not sealed. Did get the Nikon warranty slip along with accessories...so have mixed feelings about seller and snapdeal vendor..

Good lens. focus easily in day light.not ideal for low light conditions

Very good alternative to Nikon's 18-55 lens. This one comes with better zoom range better results and is always suggested for that extra reach which you keep missing with the kit lens. Its an asset in indoor shooting and general purpose usage. good construction ensures a long life with the metal F mount will allow usage of a no of different bodies from the Nikon stable. Sometimes comes with the D7000 as kit lens and is an obvious choice for people who are a little quality conscious. Always suggested if u can afford the extra cost in the beginning itself.
