I've been using Nikon lenses for quiet a while now. I've got in my collection the 50mm 1.4G, 1.8D and the lens in question, 50mm 1.8G Simply put, what you get is the sharpest 50mm from nikon wide open. And there isn't really a point to a 1.8 apperture if it wont be decently sharp is there? This beauty produces some absolutely stunning images. You're still reading this review..? This is probably one of the best lens nikon makes and you can't go wrong with this purchase. If you are planning to upgrade this is the lens to go for.

As description suggests, it is a fixed focal lens. If you take a lot of potraits and want "Bokeh" effect get added. Auto Focus is pretty accurate too. This lens looks to be the best (considering the price range also be a choose parameter). As far as the product authenticity is concerned, it looks authentic. Well done SD.. all + : - sharpness and clarity - a WOW bokeh with max aperture 1.8 - great in low light. all - : - doesnt capture very very close object (depth < 10 inch or so) so may not work as Macro lens in many cases.

Best photos in low lights nd best for portraits nd bukeh ultimate blur background in 1.8g.

Its an amazing lens for portrait photography. You can't expect more under this pricing. Awesome :)

The product came in well packed and in good condition. The lens is excellent! The original Nikon packaging is very good and snapdeal fits it in relatively bigger box with lot of padding to protect it during transit. I will give a 9/10 for the product but a 4/10 for GoJavas delivery.
