i am using point and shoot cameras for 5 years but now i started using this dslr ... there is a great difference b/w these two. if you are going for above 15000 range for your camera then buy only dslr camera ...this camera gives great quality photos as well as full hd Videos..but you have to learn some basics about dslr....thanks

this is a nice camera for beginners like me with auto guide mode you can easily capture pictures and learn using dslr more easily if you add up a lens then this camera will give you all the required stuff which you want in a dslr as the 18-55mm lens will not give that much blurred background but to some extent its very good camera and best suitable for family functions and parties

I got this from snapdeal at a good deal, thank you snapdeal. There is no need to put lots of pros and con to decide this. Best DSLR for beginners. One best thing I found when compared with my freind who own a Cannon is the ease with which you can adjust settings like Exposure, shutter speed, aperture and the graphics gives a good learning exp. on what happen whn you adjust them. Go for it! you wont regret.
