Great starter to DSLR for beginners like me Easy to learn photography with this camera Excellent performance for the price Pros:- Good Grip Kit lens (18-55) is good, you can take decent bokeh Autofocus system is supposedly good, it has a 3D tracking system although I use manual focus most of time. ISO is good till 1600 which is the limit you should try to work with adjusting other parameters, lens permitted, then it becomes grainy as you go further, expecting something useable in 3200 is ambitious, Forget about H1 and H2. If you are getting into DSLR zone for the first time then you cannot find a better camera then this one. You can always upgrade to a better and advanced one in few years time till you get good with calculating correct exposure as per situation and your requirement. This camera can give you photos, much better than its price suggests and its easy to use with most options available via buttons on the camera. There is a function button on the left side of lens, which can be used to control ISO. Cons:- Screen could have been a tad better in terms of resolution, but that's just too much to ask at this price, however its good as it is, if you are not too finicky.

The D3100 is the best you can get for the buck. The image quality is beautiful and it trains you for better photography.

atlast i got my camera but im so disapointed because my battery charger not working . and in snpdeal they have mentioned 8 gb card but they sent only 4 gb memory card , i dont konw how could i trust these people wether i got original camera or not. i will contact snapdeal.

Very good DSLR for novice users. Clear picture quality. Once you will get habituated of this one, but higher resolution lens and follow your hobby :) :)

Good camera for beginners

Very good camera with price. Moreover I got it at a lower price in comparison to other sites and market. Has a very good quality of shoot and robust built. Results of the camera are very pleasant.
