Cain 8 is a brilliant product when it combines the power of tablets and laptops. The next gen of tablets has started Kudos to Notion Ink, Intel and Microsoft. Pros: Light weight long battery life Windows 8.1 with office Has Mini Hdmi port and Sim card slot Good build quality Micro SD card support. Can connect HDD and pen drives Via OTG cable Butter smooth no lag All apps work fast Can install all Windows applications Like Tally, Photoshop, Corel Draw Cons: Camera quality is ordinary needs improvement. 16gb internal memory is too low gets full in windows upgrade and office only. No USB slot but OTG cable available Display vividness is less (cant complain for the price) All said and done it is the best portable device available in 8" Better than android devices. Better development in future will see this segment grow leaps and bound. Thank you Notion Ink Proud Indian Company.

This is a perfect combination of Design and Power. Basically its like a portable laptop. The only difference with this and the Notion ink cain 2 is the attached keyboard. Apart from this the size is perfect to carry around and the build quality is good.Notion ink have done a good job in designing the device. A perfect portable tablet that runs windows smoothly and is a perfect device to buy in this price segment. Pros: 1) The display is vibrant and good. Even small letters are crystal clear and sharp. Watching Movies is a bliss and viewing angle is also very good. 2) The sound is loud enough to impress me. However while watching movies in vlc player the sound seems to be low,but this problem did not happened in media player. 3) Attached a external hdd and it worked fine .. 4)The build quality is good but the screen guard tends to come up easily. 5)Got a 8 Gb sd card free.. The sd card will be pre installed in the device . So don't worry if you cant find it on the box. 6)Basically its a portable mini laptop and one can use it as a full fledged PC. 7)Free office 365. 8) 3g works fine. 9) WiFi reception is good. 10) Battery life is ok i guess. Used it for about 2 hours so yet to find the backup power.For the 2 hours i used about 35% battery drained out.but for this 2 hours i Used it continuously. 11)Processor is good enough to run 4k video. 12) Ability to run real time desktop apps. 13) lastly the touch is mind blowing as the response time is good enough to impress me. 14) Price... The main reason for me to buy this device.. For this price this is a steal. As i was among the first few customers to buy the device , got 3 % discount and free 8 gb sd card. cons : 1) Camera is the only weakness of the device. I really don't care about the camera as I will rarely use it. 2) Battery life is my real concern. Yet to see the battery life. 3) 1 Gb ram .. this will limit my multitasking capability. 4) Missing call facility feature.. 5) Missing a full keyboard like cain 2. All the Specifications of a normal windows tab are available at low price. Juat one demerit is cant make a voice call but it support internet call. Its the more than i imagine . . . . :)

I am happy to see this Notion Ink Cain8 Tablet by Notion Ink > on snapdeal :) I think it is a great tablet which has windows (os) and people should really buy it rather than buying a high end tablet like Samsung or some others which offer similar features for high prices. I m going to buy this tab....

If your budget is about 10k then you can surely buy this device and also if you want to feel the speed of this low budget windows tablet. Pros: Touch is great, nice looks, very fast and no lags, very nice display, clear and crisp and with a 8gb memory card] Cons: Battery backup is poor, speaker not too loud, installed apps are not of great use, quite heavy (personal opinion) Overall: I am happy with the device and I think it is a great tablet and people should really buy it rather than buying a high end tablet like Samsung or some others which offer similar features for high prices. If you are on minimal budget 10k then go for this. If you are concerned about the brand and status then no one can stop you from opting for other brands.

I like the specs. I was waiting for 10k price range windows tablet. I was expecting this to be supporting GPS too, is that correct ??

Great device but one con i.e. Camera..except camera everything is good. highly recommended..
