This home system is perfect .. go nd buy guys
Its been a great product which i have been using for almost 2 years now. Unbeatable sound quality and great price. If anyone looking for a perfect Home theater this 5.1 will never disappoint you.
Good sound effects...................................... ..............
Just installed the system a couple of days back. It looks elegant with Tall Boy speakers & wireless Rear Speakers. Sound quality is good. Some of the features not yet explored fully includes- No up-scaling of normal DVDs to HD resolutions, Voice settings for Music, Speech, Movie, Action etc. (available on the TVs) Other aspect is splitting mono/sterio audious to 5.1 channel. The Philips Technician mentioned that only HD Disks & Bluray Disks produce the effect. Nonetheless, looks good value for the price overall.
Happy with the packing as well as the product condition.. and i received my parcel one day earlier than the actual date of receiving.
After 10 days of Usage Pros The integrated Blu-ray player, 5.1-channel surround-sound and connectivity options are as close to perfect as i have seen in this category even beyond its category The Cons The system only has one HDMI port, and it's on the back panel Detailed Review below Of all the home theater in box systems i checked, the Philips Blu-ray Home Theater System HTB5580/94 leads the pack in features, performance and value. The system has every single feature i look for when i was out there in market looking for an ideal hoe theatre. It is sleek, stylish and on the cutting edge of home entertainment technology. This home theater system not only has its own integrated Blu-ray player, but it also allows you to stream movies, television and music directly from the internet (has wifi capability and Ethernet port). Its pristine high-definition picture compliments the high-quality surround sound produced by its five speakers and subwoofer. I like the wireless rear speaker feature specifically as you dont have wires running across room from front to back. But this doesnt mean that rear speakers dont have wires at all. They do connect to a wireless box through wires. This box connects to dvd player wirelessly but needs a power source. So ideally you would have rear speakers on respective right/left config and wireless box in rear center connected to power source and rear speakers with wire. So you might wonder whats the fuzz about wireless, the things is that you dont have to connect your rear component (rear spkrs left and right and wireless box) to front components (subwoofer, blueray player and front left/right speakers) Also one of the interesting feature is NFC pairing capability, in usual case in order to pair your phone with system you would search device, pair them. However with NFC in your phone you can just touch corner of Blueray player and pair mobile device in a second. The other great feature of this home theatre is that it can convert you normal led or lcd or projector into a smart device with web enabled features like youtube , web browsing etc (all you need is a working internet connection either through wifi or Ethernet cable) When i got my system and tried playing few songs on it, i noticed the rear speaker were not working though they were paired with the main Blueray player. The issue was in audio settings which was set to Digital Dolby. So if audio of the file which you are playing doesnt support digital dolby than u might want to change audio setting to surround sound, which would send the audio signals in left right config to rear speakers aswell. Philips Blu-ray Home Theater System HTB5580D/94 is a flawless home theater setup. Picture, sound and connectivity all have the right parts and perform their assigned tasks perfectly. i would like to see more than one HDMI port in a more accessible part of the machine. Other than that, this home theater in a box system is the standard-bearer for all other systems in this category
