Really good system!Nov 25, 2014This is a really good system for people who are looking for a clutter free, all in one system which also has great sound.
Pros:
- Really good sound quality.
- Very clear at high volumes.Medium Base.
- Quite sufficient for a room of about 20*20ft.
- Looks quite sleek.
- Can play 3D Blu-rays for a top loading Blu-ray
drive.
- Has built-in wifi, bluetooth and an easy menu.
- Plays movies for USB drives
- It is easy to wall mount under your TV.
- Virtual surround sound is not bad if the source of your video (5.1 DTS, etc) is good.
Cons:
- Inputs are limited. No HDMI inputs. Only one ARC HDMI output that supports 3D format.
- Wired Subwoofer (Need to hide that wire!)
Tips: Use the Optical audio input for the sound. Its an extra wire, but ARC HDMI only supports Dolby Digital sound, so you will not get all your TV inputs that will go through the HDMI ARC. Not a fault of Philips, the technology is such.Aayush
its a combination of sound bar and Blue ray player, which is perfectly sitting below your LED. Sound effect is perfect and its a must to have rather than using and home theater with wires travelling around your living room.
This sound bar is having optical and HDMI arc input, hence your LED tv must also have any of these two other wise you have to buy converters. This is nothing to do with the sound bar, this is the present technology availability.

Sound bar is simply awesome with great sound and looks. Even-though the remote is slow in response at start but the same gets negated with so many features, infact I prefer using my Note-2 as its remote thru My-remote app while operating the sound-bar.
The bass is good enough for the bedroom and its really easy to install.
Only negative was the product was delivered without serial number on the bill which could have created difficulty for availing warranty. But after few followups the same was rectified.
Value for Money.
