Quick delivery by Snapdeal. I purchased this wireless headphone to watch the TV silently and it did the job nicely. I am impressed with its quality. It is compact and light weight and efficient. Even though, It is IR based but still its coverage range is quite good. I found good quality reception in the angle of 120 degree or more. distance wise range is also good. This product is better and is able to cover a big room. For better reception quality, keep transmitter at appropriate height to match with your head. If u want to watch TV silently, don't wait, just purchase it. A better deal in this price range along with reliability of a good brand like Philips.

Nice product. But has some cons. Firstly, It gives you a big advantage of joining it with your tv wirelessly with headphones. but main problem is INFRARED TECHNOLOGY , It only gives sound when you you are nearby to transmitter, or it will keep emitting distorting , annoying sounds when you move away from transmitter. and another transmitter only runs with an adapter , it means no batteries in it, but it was not a problem for me. The main thing is that it solved my problem that when others are sleeping or doing something and you don't want to disturb them, then it is up to the mark because some others are of INTEX , but not of that quality as compared to Philips. But, it solvedmy problem so i give it ★★★★

Philips SHC1300 Wireless hifi over ear headphone is very good, but can be used only inhouse as the hifi unit has to be powered from electrical socket and does not have battery. A battery backup support would be great for the quality of headphone. However since my car has electrical socket use is my car is not limited.
