Size is a challenge

I ordered larger size but in reality it's not the case, the size appear to be under 44". I buy Polo Tshirt from US Polo out let and their XXLsize fits well to me but its not of same size this one. Biggest drawback of online shopping is size and India...there is no standard measurements.
