A good bag with a very good back-support

You open the bag and the first thing that impresses you is the back-support....really helpful. Many sites show that it does not have a hip strap....I wonder why they say that! It does have a hip-strap which is again a helpful feature when you load your bag with many things. Material is decent and seems to have been kept light to reduce the weight of the bag. I have bought this bag for my Roopkund trip and hopefully it satisfies my needs. The internal section of the bag can be one single big one or you can have one compartment in it. For me this is a good design and will help carry a bit heavy load. It does not come with a rain-cover and you have to purchase it separately. What I seriously miss is the outer pockets. 2 small pockets provided but they are not sufficient enough for "me". No bottle holder is a big drawback! The zip used in the bag is what makes me bit nervous...not a strong one...could have been better

Good Product

Very handy and permits opening from the side so that everything does not have to be pulled out from the top. This makes retrieving stuff located at the middle or bottom of the backpack relatively easy. There are way too many straps and cords all over. Makes it are difficult to use.

Good, could have side pockets

The rucksack is well-built. There is heavy padding on the waist belt, which makes it comfortable to wear for long periods. All straps are adjustable, and there are the 'magic' adjustment straps over the shoulders to redistribute the load to the lower back (recommended). The bag allows front loading, which helps a lot in rapid packing and unpacking, or pulling out one item without having to go through everything on top of it. There is an optional separator flap in the lower one-third of the inner space, which you can set up using a clip and zip if you want to keep soiled clothes, shoes etc in a separate compartment. The bag has a solid internal frame that doesn't poke out from anywhere outside. Excellent ventilated padding over the whole back ensures comfort. The main drawback is that there are no side pockets. There is a pocket on the waist belt, but it is tiny. The main pocket on the outer side is an open mesh with no zipper. Seems designed to hold stuff like raincovers, not bulky or important things. For items one needs to take in and out frequently, only the top pocket is available, which is spacious, but changes the CG of the bag if you load anything heavy. There is no daisy chain on the back, but there are elastic cords over both the inner and outer top covers to securely place sleeping bags, mats, jackets, blankets etc. The bag has a slight taper downwards, giving a rough V shape. It is relatively wide rather than tall, with its maximum width over the shoulders, to be ergonomic. There is an outward slope at the top as well. This bag doesn't look like a cuboid when packed. It is such design features that differentiate it from desi brands. An excellent product overall, and worth the price. If they had added side pockets, it would be perfect.
