Pros: 1. Price. 2. Good Read/Write Speed with 3.0 USB Port. 3. Less Noise. 4. Worked Continuously for 24 hours + still very less heat. 5. Flexible power input options. 6. USB cable is of good length. Cons: 1. Worse Read/Write speed with 2.0 USB Port. 2. As its external, power dies so does the hard drive [Requires a dedicated UPS ]

THE PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD AND TRANSFERING RATE IS ALSO VERY HIGH WHEN COMPARING TO OTHER HDD,S.ITS BETTER !!!!!!!

Now this exteral hard drive i bought was hard to get in first place.. But lets just skip till the end and my xperience with it :- 1> Nice compact and portable. 2> Silent operation. 3> No power button, (Biggest cons) 4> Device gets disable and my PC makes a noise (which u hear when u disconnect any USB device) and than again makes that noise (which u hearwhen u connect a USB device).. Means u sometimes face problem transferring file or watching movie from external hard drive.. Seems that the device cant take power properly.. Surprising coz i got battery backup.. Computer works and even my 5.1 speaker works than y this device not getting enough power.. I dont know if seagate knows about it.. But over all Good to use.. M somewhat satisfied with it.. Thanks!!

After almost one week of usage i can say that this is an awesome product. I just love it and in case you are looking to store HD movies or videos this is the only one for you.
