Remote Button is not working

Remote volume button is not working and i have replaced it, and the replaced one also having same problem.

.mp4 .avi. .mpeg actually not played I couldn't understand how to play these formats . its mentioned that DVD player can play these formats.. Otherwise USB pickup is great I have connected my 32gb phone with this DVD and it play all the mp3 songs wave format also played...
