Super stuff from TammyOct 03, 2013Exquisite make , premium finish, rugged construction and fast auto focus. Great Tammy keep it up. We have both Nik 55-300 and 70-300 form Nik in our club and I have used both. Nik 55-300 is rubbish..don't go for it. Quality is super and so is functionality Easy handling , balanced weight and good finish are compare able to Nik . Both the lenses are equally grainy at 300 zoom. Tammy however has a better and quicker auto focus, 6 way stabilizer as compared to 4 way of Nik and a flower hood that is not seen till date with this level of lenses and the package comes at a lower price point ... so decision is obvious...go for it and relish the finer pleasures of life.Indraneel
Excellent Lens with very effective Image stabilisation, sharp even at 300mm. Much better than more Expensive Nikon 70-300 vr at all Focal Lengths especially 300mm which would be the most used FL.
It's also very light weight and colours of images come out very Vibrant straight from camera
Autofocus works silently, decisively and very fast
Build quality is a slight let down but at this price it's perfectly acceptable
