This External DVD writer is the cheapest and a bit fatter than the newer iterations but considerably sturdier than the new ones feel, cheap and flimsy(well LG does atleast). It has 2 USB wires to plug in to provide optimum power to Writer but for reading and playing only 1 USB is enough. Read and write speed are okay, nothing fancy here as it is lower than inbuilt writer. Nobody considers the lifespan factor as i had to get my inbuilt DVD writer changed every other year due to mainly dust going into the optical, which isnot an issue now as after using it i pack it back into drawer so no dust and long life. been 7-8 months using the product. and feedback is positive as no holdups or DVD wrecks while writing but you have to be a bit patient as performance is a tad-bit slower. Rest assured quality is awesome and sturdy!

Perfect DVD player/writer, it's the cheapest I could get on online websites and works perfectly. It comes totally sealed and packaged and has a company warranty too. Excellent DVD player/writer and is brand new.

the only problem i have with it is the usb cable used to power it it is not flexible and also its too short but but no problem u can get one for 150 rupees or other wise the product is good if your dvd writer is not working then it is the best option
