This is definatley not easy to use. I am unable to copy my PST files and technical support team says it will take time. My HD is plugged for more then 2 days now and still it shows PST files are not copied. ( Per catalogue - PST files are supported).

I found the product to fit my requirements in terms of size and no external power supply. Little dissappointed in the transfer speeds usually get a max. of only 22 Mbps while transferring movies. Website Registeration of the product was also cumbersome. However all in all a good purchase.

An amazing 1TB external drive for which I got an amazing deal on Snapdeal, that too with a freebie!!! The drive is one of the best external drives and additionally comes with hardware based on-drive encryption. Completely silent, fast and doesn't get even warm on prolonged usage. Sturdy attractive outer case (although don't drop it!) with very good feet which means the drive doesn't slip even on a slippery surface. The software suite is also very good with drive diagnostics, encryption, auto-unlocker, quick view and backup software. The only gripe I have is the cable which is very short. And no scheduled backup in the software, although you can use Windows in built backup which is anyways better.

I got this external hard drive to back up my data. I just plugged-in the USB cable to PC USB port and to hard disk at the other end; it automatically got detected in Windows 7. Initially to test I transferred 20GB of movies it transferred at a rate of 25MBPS/Sec and also i tried tansferring documents it happened at a rate of 9MBPS/Second in USB2.0.

I am truly happy to deal with 'snapdeal'. First of all I just want to tell about your shipment. The product shipped in due date. That is great and about product? Awesome looks and initial performance is good. But After long time use I can say the product is Great.

It is slow but Reliable. It comes with WD software that is not compatible with Windows XP. I have tried installing them but to no use.
