I've had this for a while now - there is not much point reviewing a product like this after only a few days use after all. I wanted a bus powered external drive with good capacity and this has done fine for me. It is a good workhorse - I use it at 80-90% capacity and although I have had a few filesystem errors I suspect those are more down to system crashes or incorrect shutdowns than anything else. I would always keep a backup of important files though. Recommended.

i got it for 10000. though it is cheaper now. but it was a steal when i bought it. mrp was around 17000. it is a good product. supports usb 3.0cable runs silently. and plus you get 3.0 too free.

The WD is quite fast and it is quite easy to access your files, photos and docs within quick time. I have transferred all files from my old laptop in a breeze and to access those from my current laptop seemed super easy. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for additional space and at the price that Snapdeal are offering, I'd say go for it.

I have purchased this product in 2012 and it goes dead in 2014. Now it's not decting in and platform (windows, linux and mac). when O purchased it the data transfer is very slow in all windows platform.
