Dear all I am writing this review after using 3 days of Redmi 2. Come to the point ... I have an iPhone also with iOS 7.1.. its almost same . Awesome MIUI . Nice touch and Display. Here is the pros and cons of the mobile. Pros: * Mobile size is handy and can use it for single hand typing. * Keys and build quality is good and not cheap, I have dropped it many times its still working with no issues. * display is good, it produces the colours vivid and its bright. even in mid day in sunlight u can manage. *battery backup is good, u can manage the whole day charging once. but if u are browsing or gaming it eats up the battery faster. *Software given from Xiaomi is good and tested, it has the its own class. good customization and functionality works. * hardware is good. it responses faster. * back Camera: 8 megapixel back end camera is pretty good. takes good photos, white balancing is amazing. when u zoom photo won't go noisy. this 8mp cam is competitive, i some time use this to take photos. in built HDR is good. * front camera: this is awesome for taking selfi . very good white balancing and wide enough to fit ppl. the default photo processing software soften the skin and its good for selfies. * call clarity and voice clarity is good. Speaker is loud which is good for playback in home and room. * music output is good. I use JBL T200 with this. enough for music lovers. * comes with two 4G SIM slot which really awesome. Cons: Nothing it's great at this price tag.

FIRST IMPRESSION. *MARVELOUS* Phone is just second name of what u can imagine beauty is. Stunning looks, you don't even have to put an ugly screen guard because its scratch resistant (trust me it is) which makes the phone look even better. User interface which is MIUI above android stock. Makes it even better. There are many more themes to apply from MIUI database. for example iOS 9 theme. which will make ur phone system exactly like iphone few minus plus. more or less the same for someone who has not used iphone. The price point at which this phone is available is a catch to everyone. Yes there is a heating issue with this phone. Trust me all the guys here saying this phone is a heater must be obsessed with heat. The phone dsnt heat so much. for clarification I REPEAT * THE PHONE DSNT HEAT SO MUCH, JUST A LITTLE WHILE CHARGING* Camera is average. great shots in daylight, not so good at low light. But only one place this phone has lagged is RAM. If you don't know so much about how the RAM works you will get to know it when u will have this phone. It has got 1 GB of RAM, from which only 250 MB will be available. But this is only because of MIUI. The user interface consumes most of the RAM. Which is a pretty big issue, because after heavy work on some application u might find yourself in *LOADING LAUNCHER* popup. Which might be irritating most of the time. But it can be solved. YES YOU HEARD IT RIGHT IT CAN BE SOLVED. SOLUTION. GO TO DEVELOPER OPTION MEMORY OPTIMIZATION CHOOSE (HIGH) And you are done. now u ll have about 450 mb of RAM available. which is still low. but manageable. BUT FOR GAMING PEOPLE. THIS PHONE IS NOT FOR YOU GUYS. (WE KNOW YOU GUYS DON'T BUY PRODUCTS AT THIS RANGE) BUT STILL. DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES ON THIS DEVICE. If XIOMI is communicating with SD team or if SD team can communicate with XIOMI i would like to request you guys to please roll out an update of MIUI where more RAM can be available for user. This phone is great, but this RAM issue can be problematic in long run. This problem can be solved by xiomi side. SO why not solve it. and if still you are unsatisfied Cynogen mod for this phone is always available. boot it. and enjoy lag free phone experience. OVER ALL AN AVERAGE PHONE.
