Battery back up very less 1 hour only........and speaker range only 4-5 meter if your covered your mobile your hand than range will be lost and speaker mute.....sound and bass is excellent

At this price range, the speaker's sound is pretty good. It works well for handsfree calls, and the occasional movie, though I would not recommend it for music. The sound it produces is quite loud and clear at mid-volume levels: at this level, it can fill a 30x20 foot room quite easily. At higher sound levels, through, its output becomes distorted and grainy, regardless of the quality of the input. The bass drivers do very little, really: they just make the speaker vibrate noisily, rather than producing satisfying thrums. I'd recommend tweaking the equalizer on your input device to compensate for this. The connectivity options are good: I especially like that you can play audio through USB connectivity. The battery life and stand-by is very good, too; with my usage, it lasts for about 7 hours, and can stand-by for weeks without losing too much of its charge. The controls could be better: they're somehow clicky and rubbery at the same time. They're not backlit, so you'll have to feel around for the right controls, and just remember which button does what. It is also sturdy, and more than capable of handling falls. I can't speak to how the Armor XL compares to other products in the price range (though it is better than the JBL Clip - that speaker is more portable, but also terrible sounding), but it produces fairly good sound, if lacking on bass presence and clarity.
