The book consists of many humorous and splendidly written stories that are many of author’s personal experiences like when her grandmother asks the then 12 year old author to teach her alphabets or even her chance encounter with J. R. D. Tata. The stories are many of what author herself has been a part of. The book shows readers how her mother’s constant advice on saving money actually helped Sudha when she had to start a company with her husband.
