The book shows readers how her mother’s constant advice on saving money actually helped Sudha when she had to start a company with her husband. It also features a story where the protagonist takes a train ride with the President.
About the AuthorBorn in Karnataka, Sudha Murthy is an Indian author and Social Worker who has written books like How I Taught My Grandmother amongst many others. She started off as a software engineer. Married to Narayan Murthy, she is the chairperson of Infosys and a member of Healthcare initiatives under the Gates Foundation. In 2006, Murthy was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest-ranking civilian award from the Government of India, and received an honorary doctorate for her contributions in the spheres of social work, philanthropy, and education.
