About Author
APJ Abdul Kalam served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Known as the Missile Man of India, Kalam was born and raised in Rameshwaram, Tamilnadu, and studied Physics and Aerospace Engineering. He has received several prestigious awards, including Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour. Wings of Fire, Ignited Minds, India 2020: A Vision for the New Millennium and A Manifesto for Change: A Sequel to India 2020 are some of the several books that he has written. A former missile scientist, Arun Tiwari is credited with designing country's first titanium bottles used to power missiles. Arun also designed the India's first satellitebased telemedicine system. He has coauthored Wings of Fire, APJ Abdul Kalam's autobiography with him.
