perfect for an entry level gaming device ,charge might not hold up while gaming though. also gets too hot ,so im using a cooling pad while gaming .. NOTE : extreme gaming might cause thermal shutdown due to overheating

After using it for more than 6 months i found this product is great,the processing is fast gaming experience is smooth.Was facing problems when loaded OS win 7 later changed it to win 8 ,had to download ASUS win 8 drivers and utilities as the CD Asus provide is for win7 drivers.Asus should provide win8 drivers with the product purchased.Drawback is the heavy weight of the battery charger and laptop.
I had bought this beast machine after many a skeptic reviews from people all around. The laptop is true to its configuration, pretty fast in performance (Core i7, 2nd Gen is the best in the market currently), 8GB RAM helps run multiple applications to a certain extent smoothly. Battlefield 4, Injustice, Far Cry 3 are some of the games i could play with maximum graphics settings, game play and rendering were remarkable without any delays or crashes. For people who think ASUS is a machine that heats up really fast, I never waited to find out. I got one of those additional cooler fans for the laptop and so far its been functioning well. Keyboard is decent, without those annoying spacing where dust usually flies in locking the keys after a long term usage. Lightweight and sleek design Turn Down was the adapter that was provided, it did not strike me as a strong build although the design was good

I think this is the best laptop I've purchased so far. Boots up in a flash, perfect for graphic intensive programs. What quality! The feel of it is just so exquisite; so plush. Games also do work pretty well[Crysis 3(medium),CS GO,Far Cry 3....]. Heavy gamers, just a bit of advice, it won't be able to take much more than medium graphics as the processor to GPU conf ain't the best, hence it appears a bit bottle-necked. Battery life to is pretty average.

in snapdeal shows clock speed is 2.3 to 3.3Ghz.but when i got this it shows 1.8 to 2.8GHZ..This means specification of asus x550lc wrongly shown here.
