It comprises of features like Smart Eco technology and Eco Blank Mode to save unnecessary power consumption, which makes it a highly eco-friendly device. While SmartEco Technology reduces power consumption, the Eco Blank Mode blanks the projection of the media content to dim the lamp power automatically, when it is activated. This saves power and increases shelf life of the projector lamp.
Moreover, it is considered to be a cost-effective and eco-friendly system because it comprises of 3000 ANSI lumens and a high contrast ratio of 13000:1. It uses only 0.5 watt power when switched to standby mode. Additionally, it has a short throw ratio of 0.61 which eliminates any obstruction between the projector and screen.
The BenQ projector is powered by DLP technology and is capable of producing incredible 3D projection. The supported 3D formats are: Frame Sequential: Up to 480i, Frame Packing: Up to 24 Hz 1080p, Side by Side: Up to 24 Hz 1080p and Top Bottom: Up to 24Hz 1080p.

SmartEco Technology

Eco Blank Mode
The Eco Blank Mode of BenQ MX819ST projector gradually blanks the projection of the media content to dim the lamp power automatically, when it is active. This is done to lower down the total power consumption by 70%. To initiate this process, press the “Eco Blank Mode” key on the keypad or the “Blank” button on the remote control to activate the Eco Blank Mode.

No Source Detected Mode
If your BenQ MX819ST is turned on without any display source for more than 3 minutes, then the projector automatically switches to Eco Blank Mode to reduce avoidable power usage.
